This is your chance to tell the government to make soccer a priority in next year’s budget! 

The consultation allows Albertans to share their thoughts on what our priorities should be, and we need your help to make sure our message is heard loud and clear! Take 5-10 minutes to fill out the consultation survey and make sure to include Calgary’s need for new soccer facilities in your responses.  

We’ve made it super simple and have provided steps on how to complete the survey below. You can fill out the entire survey or skip to the most important parts. We’ve also provided some simple text that can be copied and pasted OR you can always write your own.  

Suggested Steps to Complete the Survey: 

1. Click here to access the survey.  

2. Answer the mandatory starter questions (1-4). You can skip questions you don’t want to answer (5-10, 12, 15, 17-19, 21). 

3. On Question 11, rank “Increase government spending to support programs and services” as 1.  

4. On Question 13, type “New soccer facilities in Calgary.”  

   (OPTIONAL TEXT) “We are out of space and Calgary is dangerously close to running out of room at all of its soccer facilities, putting the future of thousands of young players at risk. There’s an urgent need for facilities, without new fieldhouses supported by a solid facilities plan, we risk turning families away next season due to a lack of space.” 

5. On Question 14, rank Infrastructure as a top priority.  

6. Use Question 16 or Question 20 to ask for “new soccer facilities in Calgary.” 

   (OPTIONAL TEXT) “We need immediate investment in soccer infrastructure to sustain Calgary’s youth, economy, and community. By supporting soccer infrastructure, we can secure Calgary’s position as a leader in Western Canada and ensures kids can continue to dream big.”
