Email Calgary’s Municipal Candidates to take the pledge!

Our soccer community needs champions at City Hall. Tell your local candidates to commit to the future of soccer in Calgary.

Calgary’s soccer scene is growing fast—but our infrastructure hasn’t kept pace.

With only two indoor facilities for over 30,000 players, we’re falling behind other major Canadian cities. Kids are training in school gyms, church basements, and overcrowded fields.

That’s why we’re asking all candidates in Calgary’s 2025 municipal election to take the pledge: a public commitment to invest in modern, year-round soccer facilities that meet the scale and future of the game in our city.

Use the form to send a message directly to your local candidates and urge them to take the pledge.

Your voice can help put soccer front and center this election.

Soccer is on the ballot — where do your candidates stand?

We’ve asked all municipal candidates to take the Fields for Our Future Pledge — a commitment to invest in safe, accessible, and year-round soccer infrastructure across Calgary.

Here’s where they stand:

Green Card

Candidates who have signed the pledge. These candidates are on the team. They’ve officially committed to supporting the future of soccer in Calgary.

Joanne Nowak

Ward 1

Yellow Card

No commitment yet. These candidates have been contacted by supporters and asked to sign — but have not responded or confirmed.

Red Card

These candidates have declined to sign the pledge. They’ve seen the ask — and said no.
