Take the pledge: Support Calgary’s Soccer Community!

A growing game needs growing support. Show voters you’re committed to the future of soccer in Calgary.

Calgary is home to one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing soccer communities — with over 30,000 players and thousands more parents, coaches, and volunteers.

But despite this momentum, our city has just two year-round indoor facilities. The result? Overcrowded turf, cancelled games, and kids being turned away from the sport they love.

As we head into the 2025 municipal election, voters are looking for leaders who are ready to act.

By taking the pledge, you’re committing to:

Advocate for Investment:

  • Champion the development of a CMSA Fieldhouse – a Marquee Soccer Hub for Western Canada.

  • Advocate for city funding, partnerships, and grants to advance sports infrastructure projects.

  • Work to identify and prioritize suitable city-owned land for soccer facility development.

  • Support streamlined approval processes for facility development projects.

Prioritize City Resources & CMSA:

  • Ensure the GamePLAN Strategy prioritizes soccer infrastructure.

  • Ensure CMSA has a seat at the table to ensure design and operations meet the needs of the community.

Commitment to Transparency:

  • Provide updates on progress related to youth sports infrastructure in city council discussions and community engagements.

Complete this form, and we’ll contact you shortly to officially sign the pledge!
